Chase Chen Chenoff was born on March 10, 1959 in Shanghai, China.
At the age of 12 he began studying art under the tutelage of professional artists Meng Guang, and Chen Yi Fei.
He graduated from the Shanghai Art Academy in 1981.
From 1981 until 1985 he taught art at Jiao Tong University in Shanghai.
In 1985, he immigrated to the United States first settling in New York City and later in Los Angeles.
He is known for his contemporary impressionist portraits and landscapes.
