Dan Sayles is a self-taught artist. He began his career as a house-painter. Inspired by the feel and texture of paints, he began to experiment with paints on canvas. His paintings are most often composed in mixed-media. His philosophy regarding art is to allow the viewer to enjoy the art without revealing the media.
