Gerald Harvey Jones studied at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas and at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In 1965, the American Artists’ Professional League honored Gerald Harvey Jones with the New Master’s Award at the New York Grand National Exhibition.
His art was in the collections of Governor John Connally of Texas, and President Lyndon B. Johnson.
