Kenneth Noland was born on April 10, 1924, in Asheville, North Carolina. He died on January 5, 2010, in Port Clyde, Maine.
Kenneth Noland studied at Black Mountain College in North Carolina. He later studied under the French sculptor Ossip Zadkine in Paris, France.
